Key Points to Writing WRITE!!! The more you do it, the better you get. Ask for HELP, the only person looking out for #1 is you. The only person looking out for your troops is YOU! Use a spell checker.  F7 works real fast in MS Word. Use various writing resources like Merriam-Webster Online to improve your vocabulary.

The following Example has been taken out of a IMT document.  I have changed mission information to protect myself and the people I have received the information from.  I will attempt to give a little insight to the entire process if I know it.

I found this package to be rather interesting.  First off, on each category, the writer added one liners.  There is nothing in the AFI that discuss this one way or the other.  I think it is a good way of bringing overall ability to light at the same time plugging in buzz words of the time.

Final Note:

  I like the package, and especially the quantification1.  I only found a couple of things.  first is the abbreviation for aircraft, acft.  i am not sure if that is an allowed abbreviation.  The other is ATC.  Not being from the career field, like most of the judges, I had to decipher what it stood for.  (Air Traffic Control).   Finally used DGMC, I have no idea what that stands for.  Besides those minor issues, this is a very sound package that easily reflects the purpose of all Lance P. Sijan awards, Leadership!
